2021 Predictions for the Real Estate Market

 
 

Low rates + low inventory will keep these already competitive market hot for the rest of the year.

 
 
That said, not all changes due to Covid are bad. This practice keeps all unnecessary visitors out of the home. Cutting down on nosy neighbors and thieves is a real service to a seller.
 
 
When people feel it's safe for their health to leave the house and can still work from home the dream of living wherever you want will become a reality! People moving closer to family and/or buying a bigger house somewhere more affordable are the two main reasons my clients have moved so far this year and I expect to see more.
 
 

Traditionally emphasis has been on interiors with sometimes not even one photo of the yard in the listing. This year I saw an outdated and awkward house sell for $100,000 over just because the backyard was almost livable; including an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, built-in seating, and outdoor screening cabana.

 
By the end of year, there will be parties! That's right! I said even Parties...and I better be invited!
